WP ShieldMate v2 Reviewed
Hacking and other malicious activity is the bane of sites all over the World Wide Web, thousands of which are facing cyber attacks every single day. WordPress sites, in particular, are vulnerable to these malicious activities, thanks to the fact that WordPress is an open source project whose very code can easily be seen by the general public. As WordPress sites are easy pickings for hackers, it is imperative that site owners take all the necessary security measures. A good security plugin, on top of proven security practices, can help a lot, and BCBiz has a rather promising one. It’s called WP ShieldMate v2, and it is launching soon.
What this plugin does is,well, it secures your WordPress account by preventing hackers from logging in to it even after they have somehow cracked your password. Not much is said about how the plugin does its job; BCBiz’s Leo gave out a temporary password to his WordPress account for us to try out the effectiveness of this plugin, and for all intents and purposes, it did work. It is possible that log in is only possible in allowed devices, but then again, it’s a bit early to speculate.
The folks at BCBiz will launch WP ShieldMate v2 on this very date, June 1, 2018. It is set to go live later at 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time. It will be available for $10.95 at the start of this launch, and this price will go up to $17 over time. If you like this product and would love to know more about it, just bookmark this page and return shortly after the launch. We are set to update this blog post with a complete review right after the product is up.
