Software Review: MessengerContact for Skype

Instant messaging is one of the best and most effective ways to communicate online today. When we talk about instant messaging though, one of the first things that come to mind is the highly popular instant messaging programs Messenger and Skype. Now not many marketers make use of Skype when it comes to promoting their offers online, but that’s about to change soon. Andrew Darius and his team will be launching a new product that will practically help people integrate Skype into their marketing campaigns. This product is a software called the MessengerContact for Skype and it should launch just a few hours from the time of this writing.

So here’s the basics about MessengerContact: it lets you build a list out of Skype users and broadcast whatever it is that you are promoting to them. In other words, it turns Skype into a marketing tool that will do all from building your list to advertising stuff to your subscribers. It takes advantage of the fact that instant messaging software are now starting to become a viable alternative to email as a form of online communication. The software is pretty much an autoresponder software for use in Skype, allowing you not only to build your list, but also lets you create follow up sequences and schedule broadcast.

MessengerContact for Skype will be available on May 10, 2016, at 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time, for the price of $97. We will be checking it out as soon as it launches, and then will update this post with a complete review of the product.
