Royalty Free Backing Music Mega Pack: A Quick Review

Yesterday, the 20th of June 2013 at 1:00 AM EDT, entrepreneur Andrew Brocklehurst has launched the Royalty Free Backing Music Mega Pack. It costs $7 when we last checked it and is likely still available at the same price.

Now what is this Royalty Free Backing Music Mega Pack? Well, the name is pretty much self-explanatory. It is an audio pack that contains music for use in video and presentation backdrops. The package of over 500 audio tracks is further divided into eight tracks. Yes, all these cost a measly $7 and frankly, it’s a steal considering how much stock audio costs in the market.

Now we’re no music experts so take our review with a grain of salt. First off, the music sounds decent and are quite perfect for corporate presentations and advertisement. The looping tracks certainly loop smoothly, except for the occasional tracks where you can hear a vague jitter upon the transition.

There is a good variety of sounds as well, and the creators surely took time and effort to produce some good-sounding pieces. On the downside, some tracks just seem to be remixed versions of each other.

Let’s end this pretty quick review for a pretty decent product with a short recap: The audio tracks in the package are A-OK but might sound repetitive at times. However, they can all work best for presentations, ads, and even applications and games in development.

As such, this product is recommended for software developers who can’t afford their own music team and entrepreneurs and marketers who want to spice up their ads, videos and slideshows. In that regard, we give this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
