Backup Site Reviewed

What’s worse than an accidental hiccup in your host’s server? Well, that would be a hiccup that somehow deletes your site and all the business you have in it. It’s a sad fact that such a thing could happen, even with the most stable web hosts. If your host is not able to back up your site, you’ll end up losing it forever. As such, it is imperative that one will need to back up their site, such that in the event of an unrecoverable site-wiping disaster, you will be able to quickly restore your site to operational state. Andrei Roberts and Marius Price has such a solution for that matter: their latest product, the Backup Site.

Backup Site is a $27 software-as-a-service (SaaS) that you can install to any website where you have access to FTP backup. It provides you with a solution to back up your site and restore it in a jiffy should your host’s servers decide to act up and just wipe your site into nothing. Site backups are real life-savers in such events, but how well does this SaaS deliver in that regard?

That’s something that we will figure out as soon as this product is launched on May 22, 2016, at 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time. We will be updating this post with a complete review of this product by then.
